Hi Hank.. the white is not a problem for me. It is all high gloss so if it gets dirty, I just wipe it down with some spray cleaner and a paper towel. Easy enough. I do have an outside shower to clean up some if I get muddy or something like that. Felix Unger.. that was a good show (The Odd Couple). I am somewhere between Felix and Oscar on the spectrum.

Hader, thanks. I look forward to following your build.

I solved the door latch issue with some strong rare earth magnets and some steel washers. Very happy with the results. You have to give it a good tug to open and it allowed me to mount flush like needed.

Also got the drain lines in for my sink this evening after work. I need to get a piece to connect the hose that runs back to the gray water. I reused an air vent from the donor trailer.

Those are some good size magnets. I have worked with rare earth magnets and my first thought was "He won't even be able to open the door." Glad I was wrong and that it worked out for you.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and predict that your solution for the cabinet latches becomes very popular. I could imagine it would take a pretty good tug to get that open. Has this been wife tested? Things can change, just sayin....
So did you find those locally? I could use a source if you don't mind. You just used a 1.25" spade bit to bore into face?
Again, very nice.

Hi McDave. Below is the link on Amazon. They sell many different "strengths". I got the 88lb pull type. It is wife tested. She likes it. They are stronger than a spring type latch.... but allows the flush mount like I have. Just get a steel washer for the other side.

To embed the magnet, I used a keyhole saw the same diameter and drilled in just deep enough and then took a screwdriver and hammer to chip out the pieces which came out real easy with the grain of the wood. I am sure there are better tools to do that... but it worked. ;) I have a keyhole saw set for my drill that I bought at Harbor Freight that has many sizes down to 1". I used it for cutting a lot of holes.

Got the gray water line connected to the drain plumbing I installed last evening. Just need to get the Pex to 3/8 in. Faucet line and then the kitchen will be plumbed.

Also have the Hot Water plumbed in. You can see my LP connection for the HW tank and the stove. I'll run the line to the tank soon.

flboy, Howdy;

Don, am I seeing white teflon tape on your "T" connection? Now I know you have a thing for white
as witnessed by your excellent paint job of the interior, but ol' bud, Propane calls for the yellow variety
of teflon tape. Hate to see anything happen to all your hard work or anyone else for that matter ...

Hi Hank. I know the yellow teflon tape is for LP, but my understanding is that it is teflon also and just better for filling voids and etc. in the threads and not tearing (easier to get a good seal for LP). I didn't have any yellow tape handy and wrapped the threads 5x and tightened. I plan to check for leaks with soap and water when I pressurize. Should I just go get the yellow tape and be done with it?

Don, as you have a big box store relatively close by why not (for me the trip is 60 miles)? It's my understanding
is there is a slight difference in the chemistry between the white and the yellow and it's that difference that
keeps the yellow from failing. Who's to say if the white will fail in your lifetime or not, but if the right stuff is
available why not use it and be able to sleep soundly every night you spend it in your trailer instead of having
a nagging doubt.

I just learned something new!

WHITE: Complies with Military Spec # A-A-58092 and UL 31 RO
3 mils thick, 0.4 grams/cubic centimeter density

YELLOW: Manufactured especially for natural gas, propane, butane, water, oil and chemical lines
Heavier than white tape with density of 1.35-1.50 grams/cubic centimeters, 4 mils thick
Complies with MIL-T-22230A(ASG), UL 31 RO, AGA 3226 and CAN/ULC-S642

White – used on NPT threads up to 3/8 inch
Yellow – used on NPT threads 1/2 inch to 2 inch, often labeled "gas tape"
Pink – used on NPT threads 1/2 inch to 2 inch, safe for propane and other hydrocarbon fuels
Green – oil-free PTFE used on oxygen lines and some specific medical gasses
Gray – contains nickel, anti-seizing, anti-gailling and anti-corrosion, used for stainless pipes
Copper – contains copper granules and is certified as a thread lubricant but not a sealer

Put the sink lines in. I've not been real productive today. I did get some trim done after I went to a HAM radio show . I'll take pics of the trim when I move the trailer away from the house so I can get the ramp down.
