Isn't there about 4" or more of space between the bottom of the decking and the bottom of the frame?

It will go between the frame rails and mount flush to the floor decking. The purpose of the tray is I can pull it out and drop it down at an angle to access the hose... then push back in. I may need to trim some of the length off so I can get a good angle to pull the tray out . I'll make that decision just before I mount it. The gutter (tray) is very flexible and will bend. I'll take a few pics tomorrow after I install so you can see what I've done. I am pretty sure it will work... it does in my head anyway!

flboy, Howdy;

Don't anticipate anything bad happening with the access holes/vents. Where I'd
anticipate a problem would be with just using 4 screws and washers to hold it. True
it won't have much weight but there will be other forces at work down there. Such
things as wind, drag, the occasional stone or a slightly larger cousin (rock). Call me
overly cautious but I'd be wanting to use some pipe strap to add support as well as
security. Also, un secured caps can become blown off so in addition to the cord I'd
recommend a screw on both the front and rear facing cap lips.

Well the price is right, for sure. I'm gonna have to do something like that, the less you have to handle the slinky, the better.
And it would free up some storage for other items.
Thanks!

This is what I ended up with. I decided last minute not to screw this into the underside of the decking and have it recessed. There was enough room for this to slide in the hanger brackets for the gray water tank. The more I thought about it, the more I liked the idea of easier accessibility, and it does provide some rock protection for the front of the gray water tank that hangs down. The square tube will take the abuse. Also, it sets no lower than the other plumbing for the tanks. I think it looks okay this way and will be super easy to use.

Checking the fit for the tire Chocks. Fits like a glove with room for my cruiser also. Going camping in Ocala NF in three weeks with Tommy for the first annual TNTTT CTC camp and ride. . I can get it done. Next is to finish the dinette, Put the drawer and panel on under the Fridge, and build the cases for the water tanks.... and a ton of other little stuff like trim and etc.

Don,
How long did you cut the 4"x4"?
What length of slinky would fit in that?
I'll be copying your setup to some extent.

Hader.. I cut it to 5ft. The way I ended up mounting it, I could have left it at 6 ft. I have a 15 ft hose arriving Monday. I'll put it in there and see what room remains to estimate total capacity. Will let you know.

It is a 2005 I bought new in 2006. It has been ridden hard over the years. I always clean it well before I put it away. It is about as reliable as they get.

I went out to the CTC to do some work this afternoon and heard a humming sound. My auto transfer switch relay was doing something odd. It is a continuous duty solenoid driven relay, but apparently does not last very long if left on 24/7. Sometimes simple is better. I installed an old blade style switch I had laying around as a manual transfer switch. It works well. I am going to leave it there permanently.

For those observant folks... the hot terminal screws are recessed so not easy to touch... but I am getting some clear silicone to top them off with so the will present no hazard.

I fixed the oven... it works!! So happy about that.   It was the pilot and pilot adjustment that was the problem. The safety valve was the original issue but I replaced that since I had it open and even though it appeared to work after I cleaned it.. I was hesitant to use it. I didn't want it sticking open or something like that.

The new safety valve was not for my oven model.. so I had to transfer my brackets.. but I also noticed the orifice was larger and the length was shorter... so I transferred my existing orifice to the new valve and used some 1/2 copper tubing to extend to the burner tube and secured with a hose clamp... works great now... gas cycling on and off at temp... the flame is nice and blue... :) :) :) :)
