McDave,Likewise bro.
Things have been good. Thanks for hoping/asking. My kids have all landed great careers. I spent most of last month in southern Mexico, where the dollar now equals 19 pesos, a third more than in previous years, so the bang for the buck was awesome. (Due to the fear of suddenly losing all NAFTA exports to the US of jeans, beer, fruit and produce.)
I went to Olmec and Mayan museums in Chiapas, Tabasco and Veracruz, caught some great Jarocho music in Veracruz city every night in the square. Froze in Mexico city for three hours in the bus station one night so I booked it straight back to Zihuatanejo for the heat, the seafood and the beach. (Best fishing village disguised as a city in all of Mexico! And full of Canadians.) Came home to Oregon and racking leaves, teaching Spanish, teaching oil painting (adult classes) and playing geetar. Trailer is my art studio when away from the classroom. Retirement is a bitch. Not suicidal.

<--Mexican beer, while it lasts!
My goal...
