Lots of pics for today. I got a lot of trim work done this afternoon. I still have to caulk it all and cover some screw heads... but I'm getting close to being ready for final paint.

I got the right side tank cover done tonight after dinner. I'll be covering this with carpet also.





I need to paint the drawer white and build the pump access door that will go right below it, but the drawer is installed and works well. This was another item from the donor camper. Hopefully I'll get this done tomorrow and trim, it out.

I ended up using the black carpet on the tank covers. My wife liked it so I went with it. I got the drawer painted white also and I am going to install the E-trac when I get back from Home Depot. I have to make a supply run.

Got the right side tank cover finished this evening and also installed the blind for the dinette window. I am expecting the dinette cushions back this week from my sister, so I need to paint the dinette and finish that also. Just a lot of little things to do.. Just one more weekend ahead of me before I take this on the first trip .

Flyboy. This is looking incredible. Now I am rethinking doing a CT vs teardrop. Very very nice. Well thought out and outstanding workmanship.

I got some of the Etrac installed. I found an Etrac spare tire holder at Northern Tool. I think I like it there.. or I could move it to the other side!

I leveled up the fridge tonight and decided how I was going to secure it. I used a crank down strap over the top, down the sides and underneath the shelf it sets on. It is not going anywhere! Now that I have that settled.. I can add the trim on the face of the cabinet.

This is a 4.5 Cu. Ft. fridge and I was just noticing the size of the freezer... I'll be able to get a Pizza in there!



I am trying to decide on the floor tie down. I have both Etrac and a ring. The drawback to the ring is it collects dirt and then I can't get the ring to stand up easily.. also, the tie down hooks can come loose with some bouncing if not tied off with something. The downside of the Etrac is it is not countersunk and I am sure I'll stub my toe a few times unti I get use t it.. decisions decisions

Oh Yeah! Couple pies, couple dozen hot wings and of course a box or two of those Haagen Dazs Salted Carmel Ice Cream Bars. Got the oven all tuned up, Man, I love it when a plan comes together. Let's see, Bacon and Eggs....check. Assorted sausages and salted and cured meats and cheeses...check. Whiskey and mixers...check. Hmmmm.... might want to throw a jar of pickles or strawberry jam or something in there just to prop up the food trapezoid. That ought to get it.
Oh yeah, don't forget the Irish Cream. It's the most important part of your complete breakfast. If you get a chance, try a bottle of "Orphan Girl" Irish Cream. It's made in Butte, Montana so you know it's good.. and Irish. Great with coffee and better on the rocks. I have found the wife becomes quite "agreeable" after a glass or two. Totally worth it.
Sooooo.... Excellent idea for the ratchet strap/ quick release reefer tie down. Someday you may want to get back in there without having to destroy your cabinets. As for the eTrack/D-ring deal, I chose D-rings. There is only one configuration where the Harley will fit, so I put em' where they made sense and were accessible. Make sure to tie that front wheel to the chock, helps prevent jerking and pulling on the tie downs.
Gotta tell ya', Don ....She looks really.... well, you know, Great!
Can't wait to see her goin' down the road and in action at the hideout... er, I mean ...campsite.

I have decided to put a plate under the floor with a nut welded to it. This way I only have a 1/2 inch hole in the floor and will screw an eyebolt in when I need it and a non obtrusive plug of some sort when not in use. Your Trailer looks great by the way. I am jealous and It makes me anxious to get back on mine. However, not gona happen for a while.

I'd go with the ring (pad-eye), just keep a vacuum cleaner or a can of compressed air handy
to suck/blow it out. 8's idea is good as well just more 'stuff' to keep track of (plugs for keepin'
dirt out of the holes). Can't even calculate how many hours I spent cleaning out pad-eyes
when I was in the Navy. Both on ships and airfields ... .

By the way, your build is one of the 'cleanest' ones that I've seen on here. , !!!

You can't beat the versatility of E Track. I used them in many different configurations than what is used for the SxS's while moving my sons furniture this week. When we camp we roll a rug out over the tracks and you never notice them.

The awning arrived today. If I can figure out how to install this thing by the weekend, I'll have an awning for my first trip. Yay!

It looks like a very good quality (hardware and awning material). We''ll see how it works... It had free shipping to boot... which is ~$150 by some online stores.
