My teardrop build ended up at 12% tongue weight (215 pounds) and was making the back end of my 2009 Subaru Forester squat pretty bad. The Forester is rated for 200 pounds of tongue weight, so it needed a little bit of help. I found some King springs from Primitive Racing that are normal ride height, but about 20-30% stiffer. Yesterday I installed the stiffer rear springs and new struts all the way around and my Forester is riding level again while towing! A professional alignment will complete the otherwise DIY project...
