Where the wood lips meet the fiberglass 5mm bead of rubber sealant. Doors where from e bay. floors 5mm plywood.
On this one will use foam /glass for the floor. Windows are too be Wileys .door ?.
The top will be make from molded fiberglass may cost $ 3.76 on more tooling/molding to do the top.
I'VE not decided on what to use for the sides.

Great to see some wide angle pictures. It was hard to see what you had built on some of your close-up pictures. Will you use fiberglass to connect to your floor as well?

This trailer is going to be used in a rental fleet .Will use on the bottom up fiberglass Rmax foam 38 mm/1.5 inch. then fiberglass . To making washing out fast. The insides wall the same. the other two trailer used wood as flooring .I have decided not what to in stall on the out side.
On the next Trailer I would like the doors to look like the doors you have install .

What's the width and length on it? Where'd the red come from?

This sleeper turn out to be 2184mm / 86'' The outside height is 1338.5 /52.5 the width is the same as the height. The inside is less 1'' foam in roof /two'' to cover frame /1.5'' foam for floor = 48''
The red is just gel-coat .As the many small parts are bond together so will need to be primed and panted.

A 18 wheeler back in to the trailer.Pushed it a little over 20 feet, Rolled over one time.Just the shell with no wall ,roof.
The floor had been bounded in part way It need the foam injected. The floor was in two pieces. Just a few rips in the glass on two uprights Some road rash . Will post pictures soon of damage
I been working with a different shop that dose compression tooling ..Work on putting the tab inbound .That way you can use any infill for the sides . Also you can cut the side wall larger .It will be behind the fiberglass . Will improve keeping water out .

À jour, j'étais aux anges. Reçu mon premier rail compression top pièces. Une boîte de colle ensemble. Ajouté des feuilles de métal 16 gage d'agir comme un mur extérieur collés par le PL Premium (merci Bill) rruff,repas feuille de fibre de verre .lieu dans un four à 100f après trois heures supprimées . Abandonné sur le sol. Métal et fibre de verre séparés.. Dans le côté de la rampe de compression top est très lisse. High tech moyen de corriger ajouter balle sacs poubelle..pour rendre le cadre est le même que le rail haut. Besoin d'un nouveau nom pour les deux.


Ce sera la même coupe et la charnière . La grande chose, c'est avec le C en haut . Il n'a pas besoin de la dose au centre d'être préfet coupe.

To day I was ecstatic. Received my first compression rail top pieces. Glue a box together. Added some 16 gage sheet metal to act as a out side wall glued with PL Premium (thank you Bill,rruff) sheet meal to fiberglass .Place in a oven at 100f after three hours removed . Dropped on the floor. Metal and fiberglass separated.. The in side of the compression rail top is very smooth. High tech way to fix add ball up trash bags..To make the out frame is the same as the rail top. Will need a new name for the two.


It will be the same cut and hinge. The great thing is with the C top. It dose not need the center to be cut prefect.

With this new style of top modular fiberglass. I believe any nob can do a shell in five days are less.

The 24 ga.steel sheet. it is .05 kilograms / one pound per SQ foot. is 46 inch wide by 120 inches long.

I can make up the room to have 48 inches high in the pod with top modular fiberglass and bottom skirting.

The sheet of steel came from a place that roll their own metal roofs

It has no pant on it raw.

I like to find a place that has color roofing for metal buildings.

That would save a lot of time.

Dose anyone know of a place that may have this metal on a roll/ coll in the bay area of Calif.

I would drive up to 300 mi to pick up.


That be faster than priming painting.Paint never cures when you want it done fast

Paint is baked on . Good for 45 years if used on a roof.
Also had a stronger foam than you will receive from Home depot at 56 Myrick Street
Ellsworth, ME . for $16.00 USA.
Any big roofing co can order.
I am to receive two sheets of red .and special order .A sheet that has the same look of new one cent piece.
The steel with foam is a little heaver than .32 Alum. and foam.
may take two weeks to receive for the special order

Received today. There’s 7 trailers been built using the D.I.Y. rail top with the tab..
I have preformed two outer rings using the manufacturer trailTop fiberglass modular trailer building components
Using the cut and hinge. trailTop fiberglass modular building components are 120 inches long. Too cut,bend. lay the fiberglass on the joints under 90 minutes .The home made rail-top components used on other Seven trailer's were bigger on the side wall and top .I know the side will be faster with trailTop fiberglass modular . Just cut close and glue drop.
