Wanted: tear drop door or a small door

Looking for a cheap door for my new CT build. Hoping to get some leads on cheap ones. Must be smaller than 46 inches in height.

Might want to look at R.V. Baggage access doors, works well so far for me and cheaper than others. eBay might be the best bet. Mine is pictured in my avatar.

How are those for locking and being able exit from?
I saw some at a RV salvage yard but didnt think the would work for my needs.
How do your work?

Mine has two thumb locks for keeping it closed ,one key lock for locking it when we're not inside but as for being inside you just turn the latch to close. Drawback no window. I can snap some pics if you like?

R.V. scrap yard find. They make different kinds no specific maker on it. EBay is riddled with them for reasonable price.

They also make different mounting styles, I have a smaller one with surface mount trim insert style.

While the door is a great idea, you may want to find a different lock. The keys on those compartment doors are interchangeable. Mine fits my camper, my daughter's camper, and my truck cap. For security, I'd want a different lock or an additional lock of some sort.
