I went on a ski club weekend trip years ago. I loaded the skiis/poles/boots in the luggage area of the bus and climbed aboard.. about 5 miles down the road I realized my suitcase was still in the trunk of my car..... made it through the weekend by buying a toothbrush and deodorant and taking a lot of showers..... no fun, though...

and now you know why i have two lists...

Hey, Idaho Mike!! I got it to open with the OpenOffice link you posted!! I have always wanted to learn how to do spreadsheets for stuff like this but I don't use them at all (I'm a diesel mechanic). Maybe this will get me started in the right direction, thanks!!

You can do lots of stuff with Excel and spreadsheets.

My supervisor was showing me these reports showing some statistical data concerning our machines. I couldn't believe that it was done with Excel. Me, I just use it to add things up and to make lists.

I use Linux OS and it came with "Oo"

( Open Office package ). I added it to my Dual Boot ( Windows/Linux ) on the Windows OS package. Great Program "Oo".
I will download your spread sheet tomorrow.

Linux is my primary operating system at home. I use SuSE Linux 10.0 and 10.1, and OO.o comes with them. I do documents and spreadsheets with it, then save the results off in Microsoft format so the majority of the public can read them.

Hey, I did the checklist for myself. It's easy to pass along the list once it's on the computer, but thanks for the kind words.

I make lists for everything so this is great for me. I am much more likely to take more things than I will ever use than to forget anything, but it does happen on occasion!

I try to keep the PUP loaded so all we need is food and clothes, and we're ready to go. But I'm going start using a checklist (make two: one for PUP and one for TD when it is done). People (including myself) like to raid the supplies in the camper. 4th of July weekend we were out camping, and wouldn't you know it, one of the essential (if not most essential) item was missing! SOMEONE HAD SWIPE THE DUCT TAPE!
