Not to get off topic, why does it appear there is a plug in the muffle of your bike there Don?

I put that in there when I wash the bike or when it is sitting outside when it may rain. The slant of the silencer allows water in and I'd rather not boil water when warming up. :-). It shoots out when I crank it up if I forget to remove before flight

Well that makes perfect sense.

Hope yall enjoy yourselves... wish we had places like that around here, maybe my fourwheeler wouldnt sit in the shed as much as it does.

Mcdave that is down right depressing!

I will not complain about the heat here in Florida again!

Hope this helps some to distract you. :D

Thanks Brother,
That does help. Just a bit more of a breeze wouldn't hurt my feelings any, either. Just sayin'

HALLMARK 6X12 CONVERSION

Postby Padilen » Wed Jan 25, 2017 4:33 pm

Tommy,
I just noticed that there are 2 generators that are the same size yet different models. Which model did you choose and why ?
I came up with
73536i 2000
73540i. 2000
Thanks
Hope your ride is a good one

Hey Padilen I purchased the Champion Power Equipment 73536i 2000 Watt. I did not know of the other choice. Hope I picked the right one. I did make sure it was stackable though as I believe I will buy another one to power my roof top AC for spring and summer camping.
Padilen, what is that bike of yours? I see passenger pegs and big knobbies? In a former post you said you were female I thought but maybe you were kidding or I have you confused. just curios considering your skills and interests.

Anyway trailer performed perfect but I learn so much every trip as far as utilization and general function. Much of that comes from Dons advice also.
I will for ever fine tune things it seems but that is the fun part. Making it even better and more convenient to use.

Really great time camping. Those days are priceless and are too far and few between! :D

Oh Mcdave...if that breeze was blowing any harder, that pic would have been pornographic. You dirty old man! :R

I think the biggest differences are just the color and a 12vdc outlet plug.

Btw.. we did a sound test between my Honda EU2000i and the Champion. In this test, there was not a discernable difference to the human ear when they are both running wide open and side by side.

That Champion is a nice generator.

DozyAnt Universal Safest Disposable Propane Bottle Refill Adapter- 100% Solid Brass Regulator Valve Accessory for all 1 LB Tank Small Cylinders
$9.95 on amazon. I think I will buy this and refill my small bottles now that I have the Coleman grill, lantern and small buddy heater. Sounds like you freeze the small bottle for one half hour prior to filling and also you turn the 20 pound container upside down while filling up the small bottles. Right? Should save some money.

Also for 16.99. Cllena Triple Function Dual USB Charger + Blue LED Voltmeter + 12V Outlet Socket Panel Jack Marine For Digital Devices Mobile Phone Tablet

Don told me about that ALSO. Right now I can not tell how my battery is doing and I have to leave my phone in the truck to charge. Seems like a good thing to have. It seems to have 3 sets of wires. 2 for the USB charger, 2 for the battery voltmeter and 2 for the socket jack. Can all three sets be hooked up directly to the battery? Twist all positives together and hook up directly to battery pos terminal. And do the same for all negative wires but hook up to negative terminal? But then the voltmeter would be on 24/7...365 days. Would that little thing drain my battery over time?

Thanks.

Tommy
Yes I'm female. 55 years old, single if you know anyone. I'm just weird, get over it I have .
My bike is a 99 TW200 it's my 7th (?) motorcycle. Started on minibikes then first cycle a used 72-TS90. I passed it on to my little sister. She was considered (labeled) mentally disabled. She started on a 3 wheeler auto, and a moped. I think she was able to ride the TS alone but was to timid. She then bought herself a Yamaha Warrior, 4 wheeler. She called me up and said teach me to shift it! So I went over and rode her 3 wheeler beside her telling her when to shift. She would laugh at me on the 3 wheeler- yelling at me to ride it like a snowmobile! I never did like three wheelers. She loved riding wheelies on that 4 wheeler. She gave her 3 wheeler and the TS to our other sisters kids. She decided a few years before she died to sell here 4 wheeler and moped. To buy a riding lawn mower. She got more than she paid for the 4 wheeler and the exact price she paid for her moped. Wish I could sell things like that!
My older sister is a horse freak, and my little sister could also out ride me on a horse.
Thanks Don for the Gen info!

That's some history you have there. bet you are one tuff cookie!
I had A TS or TE 50. a Suzuki goucho 50. Had no low end at all. I was 15.
Time and life flys by doesn't it?

Nope not offended the "get over it I have" is just my saying. That I'm not offended and why I included the emojis .
So onto the Gen. When did you run it and what did it power? My portable AC is an 8000 not 5000 I'm wondering if it can handle that.

I used the little champion to only charge my one battery for an hour or two. And also to run that SHUR-flo water pump for the auxiliary water tank. Its AC voltage, 115. It performed fine.

Next to Dons Honda, it was bigger in size though but the square shape of the Champion would allow stacking for two. I did not see how the Honda could do that. Maybe side by side?
Don is the man to ask about the capabilities of the Champion. He knows theses things off the top of his head. Really.

Hope that helps a little.

Padilen I was unable to take any pictures as I was too preoccupied and too tired trying not to wreck! :D

The camp site pics are always the same it seems so I did not bother this time.
