Everything is reachable in my trailers' 48" high x 46.5" wide x 75"long sleeping quarters. Designed and built for ease of use. But, I forgot to consider the future. When I would become older and inflexible. That day has come; I haven't camped in nearly two years (because of several things), one of which is that I now have trouble moving around inside the trailer. I need to add grab-handles on the inside walls, and a device overhead to maneuver in-and-out of bed. A bad back and shot knees made my unconventional sleeping position (head near the bulkhead, feet at the doors), hard to use. Changing clothes inside has become nearly impossible.KennethW wrote:Anything more then 48" floor to ceiling would make it hard to open or close the top vent when siting down. Do you really want to get out of a warm bed to kneel on the bed to change the vent in the night?
I would rather just sit up change the vent or fan speed and go back to sleep. One of the nice things of a teardrop is everything is at a arms length.
PS Have the light switches where you can turn them on or off when lying down.
