GG drying time in winter ?

Anyone have an idea of the drying time for GG in 20-40 degree temps ?

I'm not sure if I ever used GG at low temps, at least not for anything important, but I can tell you that TB2 is only good down to about 40 deg F (a few deg lower than the literature stated 45 deg F), and epoxy (West System) is only good down to about 45 with plenty of time in the cup to get the reaction started.

So being water activated, my guess is that GG won't perform well at all below 40-45 deg F. Probably not what you wanted to hear.

That is why my build came to a halt. I don't work with paints, glues or epoxies if the temp will drop below 45 degrees.

The temp in my garage ranges from 38 to 50 (50 when heat is on/few hours a day). So I'm sure this will effect my build progress

Yes and no. If you have a good detailed scale plan you can jump ahead (or sideways) and work on other aspects of your build that aren't so weather dependent. Things that don't rely on custom fitting. I did this extensively throughout my build as the seasons have rolled on (... but now, in the late stages, there is less opportunity for that).

I should have said , the temps will effect the foam work on my project. But there are still many things I can do, until the days get warmer

I'm in the same camper (boat)! We're having a real winter this yr and no way I could keep the garage warm enough. Was -6 last night and that's good compared to the last cpl months! I really need to get started soon as I hope to use it end of May.
