Thanks for the welcome Vedett!
To answer some of your questions, I'm still pretty early in the planning phase of all this. But I do have a few specific ideas in mind.
To start with, I want a solo teardrop camper. I plan to build my own onto a small flatbed trailer. Something along the lines of 4'x6'. The closest I've seen so far is Northern Tool's smallest trailer

The tow vehicle would be my Ural M70 in the pictures above. Urals aren't fast, but they're great work-horses. I'll be adding a hitch socket and wiring to plug the trailer into.
A few features I'd like on the trailer:
A couple of batteries that match the motorcycle's.
DC charging station for small electronics.
AC inverter, though I intend to make everything DC if I can.
A solar panel to keep the batteries topped off.
An AC converter in case I'm near a power outlet.
Interior and exterior LED lights.
DIY swamp cooler. (Lots of You Tube vids on this.)
Vent fans.
Some kind of fold out table for outside the trailer.
Windows, and a door I guess.
Maybe some underneath storage, depending on ground clearance, though most of the gear will be in the sidecar.
I figure I need to settle on a trailer first, and get the footprint figured out before I can design the actual camper. I'll be asking specific questions soon. In fact, I just started a thread about towing with a motorcycle:
