If you are planning on kayaking or canoeing at Chain o Lakes, just a reminder that you have to have a non motorized permit stuck on the side. They most likely will be selling them there at the office also. They are $5 each
How's the weather going to affect the gathering? I know some of the State Parks have issues with flooding. Or, is it still too early to worry about it.
Just spoke with the park on the phone...as of today they have had some rain but not enough to change anything, other than they moved a couple of campers for this weekend to dryer sites. The lakes have risen very little, and they haven't had to cancel anything .
I've been wondering how much rain they were getting up there. Hoping the rains will be gone and the temperatures will rise before next Thursday. Looking forward to seeing everyone. Safe travels to all.
