I am releasing my camping site. I'm still coming,...on Saturday, but I will not be camping. I was going to have to tent camp (don't have a teardrop...yet), and it is supposed to rain. I don't want to have to set up a tent in the rain or in the mud, so I opted for more permanent, rain-proof shelter. I have digs down the road.

I was hoping to come out and visit and meet some of you all today, but I ruined that yesterday doing some wood work with my router as I cut my finger pretty good. Hopefully I will have my teardrop built and ready for next year. So that I can join in with everyone. Have fun everyone.

oh my. I can relate. Table saw got my thumb years ago and belt sander got a finger in 2015. I hope your finger heals completely and quickly. See ya next year

the 11th annual Beavers Bend Gathering was a smaller than usual gathering.
We had 8 friends that had to cancel at the last minute.
We missed our friends Texas Bill and RAZRBUG but they were with us in spirit.
We had a couple of storms come through Friday night which cooled it off for Saturday (windy and chilly) but we all still had a great time

As usual, for me, just getting to travel to meet with camping friends made braving the storms worthwhile. Plus, no leaks! Wanted to go hiking, but my knees aren't quite ready yet (one of the reasons I hadn't camped for 18+ months), but there's always the next camping trip. I don't know why no one has posted any pictures yet, but I circled the camp on Saturday afternoon, shooting some, on my Samsung SGH-i547.
