I dare you to watch the Tour de France

Alright you left turn only fans, and you futbal officianados, and you http://www.worldrps.com/ geeks, and that tennis on turf crowd, and the sliding rocks on ice group, check out the tour http://www.olntv.com/tdf/newsflashes/newsflashes.php?ss=newsflashes&e=9999! Great competition, cool crashes (no fires sorry NASCAR Fan), and it's a team sport. Learn the subtle rules and enjoy.

Not to mention the spectacular backdrop. Fields of sunflowers, mountains, ancient towns culminating in Paris in three weeks. I always love to watch these guys chase each other up the mountians with thousands of screaming fans lining the roads. What a spectacle! It should be a good one this year. With Lance retired, it's anybody's race.

Two of the top contenders Urlrich and Bosso (spelling?) were sent home after beeing implicated in a Spanish doping investigation. The sport desparately need to be cleaned up.

There are a few of us other-brained people out there. Today was lucky with the prologue ending before the World Cup. I had very little time to work on my trailer.
Sometime you have to stop and just pull out a cold one.

At least there will be only one coverage of Le Tour Les Lance each day. Those four soccer game days were killing me but I struggled through.

And I will be taking my 1960 Kenskill trailer to Vail Lake Vintage Trailer / Hot Rod Show in Temecula, CA July 14-16. I need more time to work on it.

They have over 125 vintage trailers and 200 hot rod scheduled to attend.

Come on down and Le Tour Les Lance will be available on my 13' flat screen. :icedtea:

I could have gone to that one but I decided to go to the Redwoods the following weekend where it is going to be much cooler

Got the front skin pulled on the Dalton today and found that there was no dry rot. :applause: Seems like it was tacked to the wood framing once upon a time which prevented it from slipping up and above the frame. Now it's not, so that shouldn't be a hard fix. (just practicing my hijacking ability)

Have a good day.

Most TD builders couldn't pass a tour drug test. CLEANED UP! If you have ever checked the allowed caffiene levels on pro cyclist it equals about a a cup and a half of coffeeper day. I could not take my asthma medication it is banned. As bad as it seems cycling is one of the cleanest sports. You only find dirt when you clean up. Look at baseball, when they try to clean up look what they find, it is sooooo much easier to just look the other way.

That's why I have a 15.5ft trailer, it would not fit the teardrop. :chicken: :chicken: :dancing :dancing   :laughter: :laughter:

Since Lance Armstrong lives here in town, we used to get regular updates in the newspapers and on TV. Probably won't get that much this time since he's not competeing.

I guess I can watch the TDF, now that the Pepsi 400 is over.
How about the move Smoke made, going from 10th to 2nd right before Jeffery hit the wall???
I loved Tony's Coke plug in victory circle.

I guess I need to dust the sawdust off my road bike again...
Oh wait... I'm gonna have to ride the mountain bike for a month or so, before I can even think about getting on my old racer.

Matt,
It's too bad you aren't coming to the Redwoods.
The natural 100 mile loop, known as the Tour of the Unknown Coast... California's Toughest Century is near Pamplin Grove...

Now that someone has brought up the Firecracker 400 ( I can never get used to all this name changing for corporate sponsers), I had to turn it off with 15 to go.:fb Jimmy Johnson had been loose in traffic all night but refused to use any caution at all. The right there at the end, he lost is and just HAD to use the #43 to break his "fall" toward the wall. I have been a Petty fan since I was a little kid. The kings old car hadn't had that kind of shot at a top 1, 2 or 3 finish in years. Jimmy is a great driver, but he sure wasnt showing it last night.
