Things that don't fit anywhere else...

OK, here's a project that I just finished. The wife and I have an Office space now that has 3 desks in it and 4 computers. We decided to switch our office space with the spare bedroom because the current office is bigger and would make a better guest room. Anyway, we did not want all the clutter of the multiple desk setup, so I came up with this built-in L shape to put all the computers and printers on. She will also have her rolltop desk in there. (It is a small one). I also had to do some wiring to get enough outlets for power. Added a double jack for the DSL and telephone. I still have to run a cable into the room for the TV, but it is mostly done.

Nice clean design, Kerry. :applause: Can't tell, is it Mahogany?
Chris :D

The tension between what is good enough and what is beyond that creates the space for character to become our work.

Projects? Yep we got 'em

Postby stbuch » Sat Sep 16, 2006 6:45 pm

We are turning a little used shop into a cottage for our youngest who just started college.

We get lots of stuff from the Habitat for Humanity Re-Store ( a surplus store) and we are doing it on the cheap (We estimate the cost for this at about 5K).

It's not that we don't have enough to do- we just can't stand the thought of paying someone else to do anything!

Just finished giving the cabin, tool shed & outhouse a new coat of stain and generally getting ready for winter. Thought I'd share some fine fall weather. That TD looks like it wants to go somewhere now. :)
