I remember her saying she was going about 50 mph when it happened, but the pictures of the flags she posted show a pretty stiff breeze.... if that was even a quartering wind, that'd put some really serious force on the side of the trailer. Plus, I think she was so interested in keeping her towed weight down that she had virtually nothing in the trailer.
I'm building in ballast. Lots of two-by framing in the floor. 5/8 plywood floor. So far about 500 lb below 20" height. Not terribly worried about "maximum tow weight".... impossible to get too heavy for TV to pull it--might go slower but it'll pull-- the only limiter I recognize is the strength of the trailer frame and its suspension.
Since my 'sail' is gonna be 6x10 on each side face, I need LOTS of low weight to keep it greasy side down!
