We're not a teardrop, but we are definitely a unique build. And I lived in Santa Cruz for 10 years when my kids were young, so I wanted to jump at the chance to camp there and enjoy the trip down memory lane! we'll be in site 23 with our gypsy vardo!

The theme for this gathering is, "Home Built Designs and Original TD Gathering". This should be a good gathering of unique, and small trailers. I for one, am really excited to see everyone's designs and ideas. It's not just the uniqueness of the trailer that is so interesting, it's the small little ingenious ideas put in the trailers that make each one so special. Looks like the camp site is full. I'm not exactly sure how many tiny trailers we will have, but I know this, those who booked a space there just to camp, will have an extra treat of all the interesting trailers around the campground.

This should be a fun weekend!

Can't wait to see your finishing touches Go_C_Dave. We still have a few months and I still have some finishing touches as well

Nice touch with the surfboard racks Jack1845. I'm hoping to add roof rack on my trailer for one of the finishing touches. We'll see!

Looking forward to all the ideas and changes everyone put in their trailers.

I Do not think my trailer would be done even then. to many projects in my way. Maybe some other year. If you have it again.


Have lots of fun..... will be thinking about all the fun things that go on in gatherings.

Wow. I had about 14sq ft of stainless steel to polish for my build. You have a lot of determination my friend. Great work!

Hi there, I'm new to tnttt, I am in central cali, building a larger teardrop ish, I want to come up for the gathering and it looks to be full, I may not get my trailer project done in time anyway, I am planning on coming up for the day to check out the trailers

Is there a cancellation list, just in case I can make it up for the weekend?

It's at a state park so there's no list for cancellations. You just have to keep checking to see if someone cancels.

I think Reserve America is not the site to make reservations anymore. Hope to see you there even if it's just for the day.

Please note that California State Parks switched over to a new reservation system on August 1st.

There are currently no reservations available at Henry Cowell State Park; but there are some at Wilder Ranch State Park:

Wilder Ranch is on the coast, about 22 miles southwest of Henry Cowell State Park.
It appears to be the only campground nearby that has openings.
