Thanks guys for the good ideas! It seems at this point the scissor lift is the most plausible solution. And thank you Brian for the good words. I appreciate that.
As far as the Astroliner goes, I've been able to go down and work a few days this past week. My brother and I were able to get the final wall pieces cut and dry fit for the bathroom. Then I was able to get them sprayed with moisture proof lacquer. What used to take me four hours now takes me four days, but hey, at least I can do it.

Next we installed foam in the dead space between the walls. This is more than just a fart dampener, the main reason is to stiffen the walls since there are no studs inside. So hey! Do I qualify as a foamie? Nevermind.

We glued the foam panels to the wall and then glued the interior wall to the foam panel. It really is amazing how it stiffened everything up. Next we started installing the wall panels, gluing and pin nailing them to the pre-installed cleats. As you can see this bathroom has a strong Eames influence! (Mid-Century Designer and Architect.) Also, I wanted the trim to match the existing trim that we had used on the ceiling. So I ripped some quarter round in half and painted it to match.

Before the walls were glued in and closed up for the final time, we made sure all of the proper wiring was in place. Part of that wiring was for my art piece that Carrie and I designed. Here it is installed on the wall.

And here it is lit up with 60 Amber LEDs.

This weekend if all goes well I will be working on the countertop for the bathroom. I've got something kind of cool in mind for that. My brother's neighbor came over to check out our work. He just laughed and said, "It's not a camper anymore. It's a show piece!" LOL! Well, be as it may, the day is coming and I'm going camping!
Until next time...
