Hey bc.
Thanks for the thoughts and prayers. We surely can use all the help we can get. We got the worst of the fires in our area put down Monday, but there has been a lot of devastation. So many ranches were wiped out. Thousands and thousands of cattle and some horses were destroyed. I am sure the game herds took a huge hit as well. The whitetail deer population has had a tough summer anyway. We haven't had a rainfall since late April, and the only green you see is in the borrow pits along side the roads, so it is incredibly dangerous to drive especially from dusk to dawn, but they are too hungry to be shy so they are everywhere in the daytime as well. One of my lady biker friends hit a deer on her Harley Friday night. Amazingly she had very few injuries. She is 74 yrs old. She had slowed way down to about 60 mph and was being very cautious but one just panicked and bolted right into her. The deer was obliterated and the Harley looks bad but still runs fine and I rode it out of the ditch into the trailer and into the shop when we got back to town. I think we'll have to fix it. She's been riding that one since '91. It's an Electra Glide and she just loves it, so...
Anyways, we're all gonna have to just tough up a little more, but we'll make it. Thanks for your concern. It's not often people even hear about Montana.
