I was originally going to have the roof go straight up but the hinged method seems to suit it better
I up-cycled the tarpaulin which covered the Trailer whilst under construction
this will be a temporary thing until i find some thing i like better

Pretty things being fitted

The lights are from a land rover to make things look older
the number plate cover is a up-cycled one from an old VW beetle
the fog light is from a new mini but it had a slight curve in it so I made a small frame and hot glued it together
I have been using poly urethane adhesive so I fitted it filled the gap and will put the rivets in when it sets

Maybe I can visit you, when I come to GB with my tiny Airstream. Possibly in 2018 !

If you visit Southern Germany, you are welcome here in Passau with your Beetle and trailer :)

Thank you for the kind words
The tarp section should be temporary item as the internal come next i wanted to be able to stand up and work inside in the rain
I am looking into getting it made from up-cycled sail material
Have a look at "Cornwall bag company" on facebook or twitter they make some lovely bags and things from sail off-cuts
I was hoping to be able to lay in the Qool Stream and see the stars

:D

aren't you afraid the pop rivets will leak? I know this is an old thread but asking questions
