Wanted to ask, when you lengthen your frame I am assuming you cut the frame so the rear cross member would fit back in the main rail or am I missing something? Thanks

Kim, I used 2 cross braces as side rail extensions and bought some steel channel to use as the cross braces which I moved anyway to make room for the drop floor. Sorry, but for some reason I did not take pictures of that.

From the top of the frame to to the roof is 68". The new torsion axle when mounted should make the overall height 83" using 14" wheels.

The frame is "WAY" modified. To lengthen it, I took 2 cross members out and bolted them into the side channel and put the rear cross piece back on. This also gives me 2 thicknesses of steel to bolt the axle back on. The steel mart place did not have a channel that would work so I replaced the 2 moved cross pieces with stock steel. Then I added a piece of 2.25 X 2.25 X 3/16th steel Square tube as a tongue extension. I want to get a tongue box up there if possible.

Ok. I wasn't aware the rear cross member would fit inside of another cross member. So how long is your frame ? Thanks

Kim, I used a cross member not the rear member. The cross members fit inside the side channel rail. So it was very easy to lengthen. Just re drill a few holes and bolt the rear member back on. I think the trailer rectangle part is 9' 6"long.

Here are a few more pictures. Got the TV installed with an articulating arm bracket. Had to mount it with a sharp angle down so I could see it right. It will also pull out and turn toward the front of the trailer so I can see it from my bench.



New custom made mattress. It is a weird shape and has to be bent in order to slide in. They sewed the hinge under the cover so I won't feel it. This is an inner spring mattress with a foam layer on top.



New old stock 60's era plastic wall tile installed as a back splash...
