This forum is all about DIY and low-cost ways to camp on wheels. I had 2 very used AirStreams decades ago. I paid $1000 for one and $1500 for another. Not perfect, but absolutely perfectly usable. I sold both for a $500 profit. One was actually an Avion, which was a company formed by ex-AirStream workers. Both said theirs was better!
Now there is a huge worldwide demand for used ones and they travel far. I just found this German company that buys up very rare Airstreams and customizes them any way you want. They also rent them.
I have my web browser set for auto translate so this site is easy for me to read. Some of these have got to cost a million or more.
