Destinations Forum..

Hey all! Long time no talk..

There might be something like this on here already that I just can't find, but after seeing a couple recent posts about Big 5 in Utah, Where to camp in Everglades & such I got an idea..

What if there was a pinned area that was purely about places to go/ pictures from your trip/ advice for others going there, etc.. Maybe even broken down by state.. Each being pinned or whatever.. So if you'll be going through KY, TN & WV you can check out those directories for input from others in a sort of centralized area rather than digging through/repeating random posts from years ago..
For example:

DESTINATIONS (US)
*Alabama
*Alaska
*Arizona
*Arkansas
*California
*Colorado
*Connecticut
(etc, etc, all 50...)

(And I know there are folks from other countries here too but how that'd be arranged would be up to the more knowledgeable.. )

Or is there a place like that on here already that I'm just completely overlooking?

Just a random idea, but might be pretty cool/ useful. I know there’s the bottom section with gathering announcements & such by region, but my thought was not so much when as where. I was looking through the Big 5 post & saw some great places/ pics/ info that I was unaware of despite having camped for about a month in Utah in the past.



Of course anything like I’m talking about would be up to Mike and/or Mods to make happen.

There are 675 threads in the sub forum "trips, pics, and hi way tales" which is in the "camping & gathering" section. That's the closest we now have I think. I so think a more specific sub forum is a good idea.

Naw, we've just never made it ND yet for whatever reason. I love the desert & my lady prefers Appalachia so we tend to go one of those directions a lot. When we hit that Powerball we'll need 2 houses.

Another vote here. This summer will be our teardrop's maiden voyage. We'll definitely be making use of this forum for trip advice.

I'm in favor of the idea too. A destinations forum with sub-forums for each state (and Canadian provinces?) could become a really good resource for planning camping trips.

The Farm Gathering will be moving to Montana in 2019.
If we don't meet up with you before then, we hope to see you there!
