We can do the same. For a value of $100.daveesl77 wrote:Michael, with us (and every situation is different) our camper is insured by our homeowners policy when the camper is parked and is insured by our car insurance when we are moving. If more than 50 miles from home, then it is insured by homeowners again, when parked at like a camp site or whereever. It is just a rider on our normal policies. I was just looking at our premium on our house we just bought in West Virginia (not in Florida any more and loving it) and it is on that policy, as it was in FL.
Glad to see you are going again.

The local state farm agent offered to insure my trailer for the value of the parts cost.
They would not go to an increased value including the cost of some labor.... To do that
I would have to change my policies over to that company at an increased cost. My rough
build was not worth the cost for the fire and theft insurance.
As already stated, homeowner's and auto Insurance covers things in this state when home
or in transit.
