I wouldn't put more tgan 10-12A through SAE
This is what I ordered. I ordered this one in particular due to the slim profile. This will fit and store under the loft bed frame in my CTC so it is easy to get to when I need to use it. I am mounting the charge controller underneath the panel so you can just connect directly to any SLA battery and it will also keep the water off the controller in rain. Going to rainproof the controller.featherliteCT1 wrote:What brand of solar panel did you purchase and how much did it cost?

The panel wires need to be short or thick if low voltage (under 30V).
If you want thin and long, serialize the panels to double the voltage, and get a good but cheap MPPT controller to handle it.

That's unfortunate. For others, there are many reasons to seek out higher-voltage panels if you can snag a good price.flboy wrote:Since I have only one panel, 12VDC configuration is the only choice here.John61CT wrote:Controller should go close to the bank.
