As I just remembered, I have managed to get by on only Canadian Margaritas, Wine, and Deschutes Black Butt Porter.
Yes it is getting close...... only two more trips to the USA before we leave for real on the 19th.

S H A D E it is!! with extra tie-wraps (pan-duits - flex-cuffs - whatever we are calling them now-a-days, etc, etc,) for tying the cover frames together for the B I G butt hut!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! big enough for TWO flame-dancers!!! just a thought................ there will also be a 'half-a-' Binford 6000 in the back of the truck for pancakes!!! PS just came inside from "testing" the new tear's mattress'es' - yes I said plural, 'mattress'es' - another Camping World closeout "DEAL" got two 'Denver Mattress' bunk bed mattresses 30 inches wide each x 70 inches long and than had a foam block cut to size for a filler at one end (6 x 8 x 58w) Nice mattresses !!!!! The selling cost price had been $300 each when made in 2015 - never sold / old stock got them for $90 each - so much easier taking in and out of the trailer being 2 separate mattresses - 'tested' out - Nice and comfortable

Yes...if there isn't a site available in the lower loop, just come anyway...we'll find a spot for you. The sites are large and we double up. the cost is per trailer, not per site. See you there!

I had a great time with old friends and meeting new ones. Romi and Cathy did a great job. Several of the PacNW and BC folks met for the On The Way Gathering organized by Brian and them some caravaned the rest of the way. The Friday evening rain (deluge) created a lot of togetherness under the canopies that some guys thoughtfully had set up earlier. The Lantern Lighting on Saturday night was a meaningful way to remember Doug who had meant so much to the gathering over the years.
I took off Sunday morning expecting to camp somewhere on the way home, but just kept going and got home a little before 6. The weather just kept getting better as I came North. It needs to hold so I have time to control the jungle that was a lawn when I left over a week ago. See you all down the road.

Just made my reservation for next year (2019). Same site as this year #16. I will be coming in on Thursday and leaving on Sunday. Had a great time this year.

That's a nice video! Too bad that it became (I think) our second "Damp" Gathering in history. But, it's beautiful up there even in the rain.

Thanks to Romi and Cathy for all their efforts in setting this up and seeing it through.

The Wife and I just wanted to say thanks for welcoming us into your camp. We wished we could have stayed longer, next year I think we are gunna try to make it up on a Thursday and stay till Sunday. Really appreciate all the great advice and info on building that folks shared. Looking forward to the next gathering we will bring more Lumpia
