Photo Albums ...

Hi Guys , I just want to know Why my Photo Gallery is no longer acessable in my posts … ( the little camera button is gone ) Tried to find a way to re-activate it , but no luck … Some people still have theirs , so what’s going on with that … ???

That didn’t work , but Thanks anyway … I just came up with a sub album thingie that didn’t do anything ...

This is photo 150891, copied from your photo album (it is the Image BB Code, listed under every photo after you select it)...as "[album]xxxxxx[/album]". I just clicked on your user name, then clicked on "search user's images" and it took me to your photos. If you need to display a photo from your album, open a second TnTTT page, click on your user name, and do what I did, copy and paste.

DM, sorry , I must be an Idiot !!! Nothing I do works …. sure i can get to my album allright but can’t get my little camera button back … ( Hint: maybe I put too many pictures in my gallery and they’re politely telling me to “take off” … )

If I go into your profile, it has a link to show your gallery and see all 543 images. But no gallery button under your avatar.

FWIW, I just created an album, and I don't see a galley button under my avatar, either. I added a link to my signature, instead.

*****I'm not a software guy, and since using punchcards, Cobol & Fortran was as far as I got in computers (early '70's), I don't follow this phpBB stuff very well. But, I try to investigate problems even though I don't have the training. Here's what I found out:
*****I inspected the phpBB code under mine and GPW's avatars, where the username and various other descriptors are displayed, and compared the code that persons with the camera icon have under their avatars.
*****There are additional lines of code giving direct access to personal website links and to the gallery (or personal album) of that member. I randomly inspected several other usernames to see if I could discern a pattern showing who has the camera, and who doesn't, but couldn't pin it down as to why !. The necessary code is not present for myself, GPW, and most everyone else that I inspected.
*****It seems to be an arbitrary decision by either the board administrator(s), and/or the code-writing software manager, as to who gets those additional lines of code.

I've figured it out! You have to have a subalbum created under your user album. I just created one and dropped in one photo, and now I have the gallery button under my avatar.
