Keeping a flat roof from sagging

Maybe build it like a camper roof that is a tried and true design? They are extremely light and don't sag. Frame using 1x4 or even 1x2 solid wood and double up in the center to make a peak and then thin whatever to cover the inside and out. You can even use cheap furring wood.
