It seems that that would be about the same size as a 4x8 teardrop, in fact for me I would not be adding a galley so that would be a little bit bigger I would think. What are your thoughts? Does anyone have pics of a 4x8 cargo conversion that you would care to share if you have done one?
Thanks
We looked at 4x8s when choosing our cargo trailer to convert. Ultimately, <4 feet for two people (particularly of my size, 6'1" ~200 lbs) just wasn't going to be comfortable, doable yes, but not ideal. Going to a 5x8 wasn't much of a cost difference nor put us in any trouble with the trailer not fitting where we wanted to tow it (and it actually matched the tow vehicle width nicely) so we went with more space.
If you truly only plan to use it as a one person camper, it'll be fine. If you want to fit two...just know it'll be intimate, even if you're petite people. So consider the true benefits of the smaller size vs what you want to achieve with it.
