Still adding to the Mess,
Ordered some different glue; Sikaflex-252 Polyurethane Elastic Adhesive.
For the galvanic corrosion between dissimilar metals its been suggested for the first glue to use 1" pieces of trimmer line or very high bond tape to separate the pieces, And that's the plan.

At a pause till I decide opening size of rear door; Like others posting I really want 48" clear, so I cut a Top header for 50" width yesterday and wonder if i should go 51 now for the door seals / backer before I start gluing /welding and winging the rest. What to do?

EDIT: Too easy to add 1 inch now, I can make it smaller later but I doubt it!

Im still plugging away at it. Almost ready to start gluing some pieces in, but winter has arrived and its still to cold, gives me plenty of time to, ponder the back door some more, roof rack, fan, solar, wiring route ect.

Been framing in the doors, first is the entry door just the frame for my vintage door.

Second is rough frame for rear door, initial frame not finish welded and still moving way to easy so adding more mass to it, long way to go before I will be comfortable rolling it on the sides to finnish welding, grinding, sheeting and fiber glassing.

Last one is how tedious it has been to get fit for the 1/4" birch.

I'm probably way behind here, but...
In the racing world there are many times that we need to bond or bond/bolt dissimilar metals or dissimilar materials like wood to aluminum, aluminum to carbon fiber, etc. This is all solved with one product. Hysol Structural Adhesive. And after several years of breaking boats at 200 mph, I can tell you from experience, it will break anywhere but the Hysol.

As for a one time purchase may have missed that.
That stuff makes what I bought look like peanut butter in the specs department. :lol:

In the off chance you do use it, you will need a gram scale. It's the only way it can be accurately measured out. And keep it warm

Thanks I have the scales, and it Finally started to warm up :lol:

I may still find a need.
Weather is what I have been waiting for & the skeleton looks like it did in January, but its not; and the second picture is most of the wall sections I will be gluing on the bottom tomorrow, The floor is thin enough I don't even want to try any other methods.
