I went partners and received 20 sets of the preform railtop / trailtop kits and 400 running feet / 122 meters of railing . As I like to add side boxes made out of this .One with drop down sink /food prep . The other with a eccotemp L5 tankless water heater . Don't want the fiberglass to burn. If you have one do you think wood may burn behind the unit. I like the boxes to be 9 in / 23cm deep .What your though on this? :campfire:

You mean like this ? How does that all fit together … ??? Isn’t there an insulated metal shield you can use for that ???

Think rain guttered at your house .You just cut and bond.

Had not even thought of that. Just thing a flat sheet metal would get to hot and need to place thick spacers .

Mine is in a Cedar closet that is lined with fire board and vents to the exterior. We used it for an entire season with no issue. Oxygen sensors never kicked, nor did the CO2 sensor. Flawless operation.

That's basically what mine is, it's just specifically made for fire retardation

Honestly, it really doesn't get very hot other than at the vent. I think I was overly worried about heat when in reality the hot water only runs for seconds at a time. The shower is the biggest concern and even so, it's the vent pipe that's hot. The main concern is that it's vented to the outdoors because it puts out CO and also that it gets fresh air to it so the low O2 sensor doesn't kick it off
