Thanks guys. I just got it all painted and put back up. I think it looks good. Alot of very convenient storage. On the left is the portable solar panel and my gun safe is on the right up towards the front. I do not think I will build out the remainder of the right side. Maybe put in some netting so I can toss a few things in there.
Here is the drawer in the up position. Actually keeps me from hitting my head on way out as now my head cannot raise up into area and hit crossmember on way out. That is worth it in and of itself. I have bumped the head a few times as the garage area become the lounge area when the bikes come out.
This will work well with the dirt bike on the left or right side. I should be able to deploy without removing the bike. I can see where it will be a problem with the Kingpin on board.. I we'll see soon enough. If so, will have to be careful what we put in there if we will be roadside camping without removing the bike.

Here are a few pics with it deployed. It deploys easy enough. Just a pull down of about an inch or two and the gas struts take over. It is a little stiff to push up, I could have went a little lighter on the struts. If it doesn't loosen up some, I may just buy some lighter ones. Easy enough to snap in.

I moved the light back and kept it there as it now provides light to the drawer also when deployed. I left this area open for the light and to have access to the hinge bolts. Easy enough to get to them this way.

This is something I had in mind to do for a while. In fact, when I designed the bed, I could have just used one beam down the center and it would have been strong enough with the heavy decking I have, but I created the three spaces with two beams and made sure the middle section was 2ft wide and squared up well so I could make drop down storage as I did.
In any case, I spent about 5 hours on it today, but glad I did. I think it turned out well.
I also did a lot of finish painting this weekend. I still have the garage area and the wall by the dinette. My plan is to have that done before I pull out for bike week. Motivation to finish this thing up.
