We’d patina the galvi with mild acids, rust it up a little, and then clear coat it.
I’m only envisioning this on the top/front. Probably paint the sides in her favorite turquoise and brown combo.

One of the metal supply stores by me has a display for their acid etch and dyes for metal and the turquoise one jumps out at me. I like it a lot, some day I will have time to mess with some to see how it works. Not sure I would want a distressed camper unless I was pulling it with a "Rat Ride" But that's just me.

The sheets come 41.5 inches wide by 10 feet long. They are coated with Ceramastar 1050 which is an SMP (silicone modified polyester) coating. Tough stuff to say the least. $38 per sheet was a great buy! I haven't posted my build here because i didn't see where it would fit but one could find it on expedition portal.
