My wife works for Albuquerque Public Schools and they had "Vernal Holiday" on Friday. I have no idea what that is, though I suppose, even in this overwhelmingly Catholic community, they are not allowed to have religious holidays.
But I took a day off of work, and any Friday Shelly and I get to spend together is a Good Friday!
