3 36 15/16” 48 47 7/8” 93 39 23/32”
6 40 5/8” 51 47 23/32” 96 38 19/32”
9 43 3/8” 54 47 15/32” 99 37 13/32”

Wow thank you for this information!!
I will get this marked out and see how she looks. Seems like I might have seen a graph you did somewhere the other day? This will be huge in progress today.

Got 2*4 frame done and 1/2" ply on the bottom. It has 2 coats of the poly mix on it now. Probably will do a couple more throughout the afternoon and then paint with the Rust-Oleum black paint.Image

The bottom was painted with 2 coats black paint before being flipped over and bolted down. Next came filing the cavities with foam.Image
Next was covering with the top layer of 1/4" plywood. Good thing I haven't done my landscaping project yet as these came in super handy today. Image
Dried and routed flush on all sides. I also stapled the perimeter also just for added measure. Image
It is now wrapped in a tarp along with a stack of plywood waiting for 11 days before I get a day off of work again.

Great job! I wish I knew how to weld! I wouldn't have used my cheapo trailer frame...

It's been a long road to this point. Trailer still looks the same been covered since I did the floor. Going to be getting back to it soon. I bought this awesome book by this dude named Tony some of you may know him. I've read it half dozen times at least. I've also bought new doors and I have the hurricane hinge and solar panels and other odds and ends.

It's been a crazy last couple months. Cleaning out garage and making room so I can work on this project through the winter months and hopefully possibly have it done by camping season.
I got the trailer top resanded smooth and a couple more layers of the poly mix sprayed on. Let that dry now I am in the process of glueing my template sheet together. I'll get up a hair earlier in morning and tape and glue the other side before leaving for work.

I got my template rough cut out. On the left side of picture. I'm not happy with the rear shape so I will change / finalize it on the 3/4 ply before cutting.
Got my 3/4 ply stretched out. Image
I used a 1/4" slot cutting bit and made some splines on the table saw.
Image
Next thing to do is figure out some layout measurements and start cutting the skeletons.

Holy moly, Rocky!!! Chopping that frame into three chunks just about knocked me right out of my chair! :?

Nice recovery! Looks good.

I got my sheets out of clamps and lined up and screwed together. Then clamped the template on top and used a thin strip of wood to adjust the rear curve to my liking.
Image
Then searched all over for my jigsaw; finally found under the trailer lol.
Got the sheets rough cut.
Image
Then I used the off cuts and some 2*4s to make some 90° brackets. Stood them up and used my belt sander and power planner to even the edges and bring everything to the line. Image
Next up laying out my skeleton cuts and door openings.

I made a mini work table out of 2*4s and tied them all together with 1*4s. Nice and sturdy. Also raises the work height up. Image

Been working a stretch of night shifts but I got out today for a bit.
Since I changed my shape I had to remake the back 2/3 of my template.
I figured it would be easier to cut the outer skin with a proper template and not trying to eyeball it.

Getting final layout done before I make any more cuts.
I'm stuck here
What do I do here at the rear of the trailer and the hatch opening junction.

Hope that makes sense. I'm not sure that little triangle will last

It does make sense. I recall encountering this issue with my sister's teardrop.

I think the easiest thing to do is make the rear of the floor parallel with the inside of the hatch. But of course with a 3/8" gap for a 1/2" D-seal.

I can think of two ways to accomplish this.

The easiest would be to glue and screw a rectangular piece along the edge of the floor, remove the screws, and then rip the proper angle off with a circular saw. Of course, you'd want a straight edge attached to the floor to guide the saw.

The other way would be to rip the piece with the proper angle and then glue it to the floor. But that might be a challenge to hold it in place while the glue sets.

Does that make sense?
