Tear time the slower pace of camping.

50, semi-retired, don't have a TT yet, not sure what I will buy as a tow vehicle yet, but enjoy the slow lane style.

My TV will allow me to sleep flat in the back as well as have something like a MyPod to tow when needed.

One thing though, I'm a cold weather person, so AC will be a MUST when it gets above 70 degrees.

Slight Bump, found a NEW MyPod Max, 2017 Model for $7900 OTD, going to look at it Monday even though I don't have a TV yet

@CrtTaz: So did you buy that one? I'm thinking of selling a 2017 MyPod MAX 5x8(?). AC, TV, DVD, radio, ceiling fan. Chicago area but could deliver.

I haven't looked, right now don't have room in the garage to park it. I ended up with a bigger truck than planned, 2005 Dodge Durango, which can tow 8700 lbs.

It also fits a twin size air matterss in the back. I slept in it on Pikes Peak last month at Halfway Campgrounds waiting on the hill climb.

Any trip report on this Pikes Peak camping ?
I've been wanting to go for quite some time. Any tips tricks would be great.

We spent about 5-6 hours at Halfway Campgrounds stacked in with other campers/parties. About 2am or so (too early) they opened the road to head up the mountain and we parked at Devil's Playground, so not much real camping was involved.

My buddy uses a meadow on the other side of the valley, National Forest so free to camp in certain areas. His view from 2017
