The best part about that sign is Teardrop is spelled wrong.

I think this one is what most of us are in serious need of.

Chris :D

The tension between what is good enough and what is beyond that creates the space for character to become our work.

I wish I had photographed it, but about ten years ago there were some wonderful temporary road signs near me. They were opening a new highway around my city and they took the opportunity to downgrade many road numbers in the suburbs to discourage drivers from using them.

The first sign warning of this would be fairly normal, something like:

ROAD NUMBERS
BEING CHANGED

but the second sign looked more like existential philosophy than a road sign:

FOLLOW PLACES
NOT NUMBERS

Cue The Prisoner: "I am not a number — I am a free man!"

No pasties. Many of the towns on Cape Cod restrict parking at boat ramps and beaches to residents, property owners and people who rent property in thier towns. If you meet the criteria and pay their fee, you get a sticker to use their so-called public facilities.

In the norther part of the lower penisula in Michigan there were signs that said: Do not pass if there is oncoming traffic. It seemed like they were every 5-10 miles.
