Yoder Totter..... White Shadow

Postby MS_Steve » Thu Jul 20, 2006 1:17 am

Just made the trip to N. Canton, Ohio over the 4th July weekend, to pick up my 4x8 White shadow. Pulls like dream behind my Corolla, and it only knocked down my mileage to around 31-32 MPG, after I got out of the Kentucky and Tennessee hills.
Newbie TearDropper.... but long time lurker on this forum. I finally decided to purchase one, due to my procratinatory tendancies. Though I'm sure I could have built one myself in a 3-5 years, after I worked all the bugs out in my head (at night, as I'm trying to go to sleep).

Thanks Pablo,
I'm hoping I don't have to work again this weekend... I'm definitely anxious to do a little camping with it.

Silver Shadow 5X8 owners here. We love our "Schmoopie"! Been camping three times since mid-June and will be heading out again when the weather breaks. Yay! :ilovecamp:

yoder toter

Postby Ron Heath » Fri Jul 21, 2006 12:11 pm

Hey everyone, I have the 5 x 10 silver shadow. Love it , love it, love it :D . When I'm trying to manuver it by myself, I wish I had got the 5x8. But once I get it in place, I'm glad I went with the bigger trailer. Lots of room to spread out, even with two people. I go out a week at a time,or more, so I can bring all the clothes and stuff I want. Something to think about. Stay in touch and take pics. ;) Ron

current pricing

Postby lgreed » Fri Jul 28, 2006 1:51 pm

I just contacted Yoder Toter in N Canton, OH and talked with Keith(more out of curiousity than anything. He gave me this current pricing on what he has on ebay at present time:

4x8 - $4,900
5x8 - $5,900
5x10 - $6,900
:fb
and he says that the 2007 models out in 2 weeks will all be $1,000 more than current prcing. Whew..I must be some kinda tighta$$..I'm still glad that I have at least decided to build my own and have a week in August to dedicate my LIFE to doing as much as I can.
