At first, both walls are exactly the same. I first made a drawing in Illustrator with all sizes. I transferred these measurements with pencil on the walls by measuring exactly with a ruler and square hook. Then clamp a wooden bar every time on the wall and then with the router next to it for mounting the cabinets.
In the meantime started placing the first parts of the kitchen and cupboards.
The left wall is already glued to the floor, the right wall is fixed with a few screws so that I can clamp the boards between them. Place 2 more shelves in between and then the right wall can also be permanently mounted.
Tested sink and water tap. All fits as planned. Water tap is flexible, i have to put it down when hatch is closed. in the left cabinet there will be a gasstove on rails and a cabinet for pots and pans, in the right cabinet the fridge on rails. Under the sink in the middle i'm gonna place the 12v 70Ah battery, 15 liter watertank, waterpump and 2,5kg gasbottle, is gonna be tight.
In the past days I have been able to spend a lot of time on my teardrop trailer. The cabinets are now almost ready with the exception of the doors and drawers. sand and primer in the coming days.
Tonight worked on the kitchen cabinets sliders. We will use the box next to the cooker for cutlery etc Cabinet under cooker will be used for pots and pans and mayby a small barbecue It’s gonna be a great kitchen after months of designing and thinking about the best way to build.
Worked hard on my teardrop trailer in the last 2 weeks. This is my update. The doors and cupboards have been painted, the headlining has been placed and the electrical cables have been fed through. Isolate next step.
