Yes, I had some extra etrack and definitely considered doing that, even on my ceiling. The set up is great, because when the kids are up, it opens up the entire trailer for other things. You simply unclick it from the d-ring and you are done. I think they can also dub as a storage solution if needed. In other words you leave one hooked up and fill it with whatever you need to get up off the floor. I think it's very versatile in this sense.
