Hankaye .
Today we visited Trailers plus and looked at some 6x10's (yes 6) .

Normally I haven't liked the looks of the "round tops" and was trying to stray away from those but..........
Was really surprised at the headroom , more than a "flat-top" .
He showed me the 2 different brand's
Interstate & " " .
One had welded door hinges and the other was bolted/aluminum.
Prices ranged from $2,800--- 3,400
I measured the rear barn doors at
30" wide.
Also checked out the fiberglass piece at the front. Seemed pretty thick and could hold up well.
The only problem is they are a bit too tall (8ft 1") for my shop door even with a lowered axle.
There was a Victory 6x12 V-nose on hand that looked interesting.
Standing in it was barely touching my head . Measured at 3"under 6 foot but noticed square tubing, fully welded on the ceiling.

My wife really liked the 6 wides but it's the first time she's came with looking at trailers.
We measured a 5x8 for a single door and the opening was 51". So I'd imagine barn doors would be pretty skinny.
My teardrop door is 26" wide (just for comparison).
One thing I liked about this place was the pricing was on paper he handed me .
Not, let's see what the computer says. Prices to accessories were on the wall with pictures.

More to think about..... and research.
