New to the group need weatherproofing ideas

Hi I’m Christine. I purchased a home build last year and spent my first summer camping in it last year and loved it. What a joy to not rent camp anymore. I love my Teardrop but unfortunately the builder did not weatherproof it and it leaks. It leaks in the sky light vent and it appears to leak possibly through the hinge of the galley door. I don’t let summer rain storms stop me from camping or traveling to work places. I am prepared to pay a repair person but am also interested in ideas to DIY! Thank you

Photos of the suspect areas would help a lot. Do the leaks happen on the road (wind driven) or when parked?

I found a wide strip of rubber secured over the hinge with wood battens solved my problems there. For the vent look at butyl tape.

The leaks happen when parked and traveling. My camper is in storage and I’m out of town therefore pictures are not possible. But when I get home I can send a pic. Thanx for the input
