PS if you're reading this there you ain't doin' it right.

Hi Dan. It was on a particular loop I drove around checking for a good site. I would have had to back the trailer up a good ways on a narrow loop to get out otherwise. I had some spotters as I went under. I thought I could make it if I was centered and looked out for the ladder. I only had to remove one bolt and swing in an antenna mount on door side to clear. Much easier than backing up. If I go back, I will walk that loop to see what's available. Once I am in a site, I can pull out and go out the way came in. This day there wasn't even a spot on that loop available to back into. It is the most desirable loop, so it goes first.Ol' D wrote:Wow that was close. Was that on the way in , did you have to come back through there? Glad you had no damage.

You can pack a compressor an then let some air out of the tires and top'em
off when you are clear. Had to do that with a big truck & trailer once. The folks
were absolutely certain a truck would get in and out had been done dozens of times.
Well they forgot the roadway had been repaved, effectively "lowering the bridge".,
