Newbie building Kit reproduction(s) in Bend OR

I’m new to the group and would like to introduce myself. My name is Rob Walker and I live in Bend Oregon. I’m currently working on a Kit Kamper TD reproduction— the first in what I hope to be many in a small production business. I’ve spent the past few years studying every aspect of the 1947 Kit, corresponding with many who have walked this road before me (Grant, Dan, George and others), making CAD drawings, acquiring vintage parts, building tools (gracefully upswept round tube tongue- check, die formed and welded Fulton coupler— check) and setting up a production shop. I worked my last shift as a Critical Care RN on Christmas day and I feel fortunate to be headed in a new direction. Thanks for having me!

Welcome, you couldn't have picked a better time. I am selling my 21st teardrop in five years. Phone ringing off the hook, could have sold four this weekend easily. She is going home four hours away to Seattle. Have fun!
