My Harbour Freight Build in a Small One Car Garage

It's been a little while since my last update.
Since then I decided to fabricate fenders into a platform/bumper with 1x1 steel and expanded metal. My little brother is a welder and I'm thankful his shop let us do some personal work to help me out.
Last weekend I successfully finished painting the bottom half of the camper with Durabak textured using a Shutz gun to spray it on. In a week or so I'll be rolling on a sand colored Durabak on the top to complete things. Then comes door installations and interior work before I wrap things up. There's still a lot to do after that but here's where I'm currently at.

Is the Shutz gun still functional or is it a toss away item?
I am wondering if I should order a spare with my first one

If you clean it well with Xylene it can be reused.

1340# is pretty good for a stout build. Hopefully that HF trailer will hold up well enough for off-roading & boondocking. This should be a lot of fun to travel with, job well done!

Thanks, I really like how they turned out. They're solid and can be stood on to access the roof very easily and clean solar panels.

Yeah, I thought 1340# was great news. I was expecting it to be much heavier. I've taken the camper out a couple of times so far just around town. It pulls straight and nice behind the jeep and handles rough road nicely. I welded the frame together before the build and increased the tongue length with 2x2 steel that runs underneath the frame to where the axle would be. I'm using Timbren suspension with a 2x2 cross bar there as well. The fenders run the length of the frame and are bolted and welded. I think with all of that being considered, it will do just fine. Time will tell, lol.

Since these photos were taken I've added a MaxCoupler hitch and 2- 100w solar panels to the roof. The tongue box now has a 70lb 100ah battery as well, plus the chinese diesel heater and some other wiring components. I'll take more photos asap and share them here.
