Nice work! they look great. Make sure to give them the old garden hose test before you button up the walls. Just a good test and easy fix now if any leak issues.

garden hose is still put away for the winter since the temps at night still get down below freezing, except for last night, it rained all night and no leaks so far....

i also ordered eyelids (rain caps) which i'll install whenever they arrive

Good idea on they eyelids. I just recently added some to my windows. I made them out of 1 inch aluminium angle stock.

eyelids arrived today, they’re kind of long but the next shorter size is 24”, these are 27”

Those look like a truly good fit. Ya don't want the drips falling
right along the window edges. They have a tenancy of ending
up inside where ya don't want the drips.

picked up the revolutionply (lauan) yesterday, managed to get it home between rain clouds. 4.5mm (0.177”) thick and weighs 15.7lbs/sheet.
still need to locally source 1/2”styrofoam for another layer on the walls to cover the metal wall studs, still waiting for my order of wafer head, self drilling screws to hold it all together

it's been a while since i've updated my build. so far i've completed 2 layers of insulation in the walls and ceiling, installed interior sheathing, leaving a 3/4" gap at the top of the sheathing for running the trailer's exterior running lights and future interior lights wiring and covered that with a 2" trim strip making it easy to add and remove wiring as required. the 3/4" aluminum angle for the inside trim of the man door is arriving today. started building the bed base/storage out of light weight cedar...

Looking very good! I think it was a good idea to leave the 3/4" gap at the top for the wire run so you can add more later.

It's been a while since i've posted, for out first trip we took the trailer out for our 10 day camping trip and i'm very pleased how it handled, especially how the shocks handled the fire access roads. the single hose portable a/c worked well enough but i've decided to install the window shaker now that my new 1000 watt inverter generator runs the 5,200 btu a/c without problem

I really like that you're going for lightness and simplicity, these are two qualities frequently overlooked by trailer owners.

Your use of insulation and lighter interior ply is an excellent choice. Did you insulate the floor?
