12V Timer?

Postby fornesto » Mon Jul 24, 2006 12:27 pm

Does anybody know of a 12V timer, like a sprinkler timer, that comes on for a period of time than turns off. I know the Malibu Lights are 12V, but the timers are integrated into the 110 household converter.

(IDEA: Salvage a Malibu light system to have a budget converter!)

Give a person a fish and you feed them for a day; teach a person to use the Internet and they won't bother you for weeks.

Just use a 120 volt unit. You can find it by the fans (Bathroom and ceiling) at your HD. The timer doesn't use the power to keep time just a wound spring. You can pull it out of the box, set the time and it will run. They do CLICK CLICK CLICK.
