I used 3/4" craft wood for this cause it was lightweight and strong.
At the time it was $15 Lowe's.

We are starting with the face.
Measurements are 16x72 .
Mine I cut down to 66.5" across.
I wanted it, to butt up against the v-nose walls.
This is why I kept the factory walls, so I would have something to screw into.
Cut out notches near the top to clear the trim and drew the holes for the doors to cut.

After some Urathane it's ready to mount .

With three #8, 2" screws each side the face mounts on easily.
