Since I have a carport, even with 90 degrees outside I think the trailer will cool down pretty well being out of the sun. I'm real busy with work right now, so I won't get but maybe 4 hours a week to work on the trailer for the next few months.
I got the longer side well insulated this week, plus the window A/C hatch installed in the side of the trailer. Since my trailer is under a carport it got cold inside in just a couple of hours this morning. So blessed....
Here's the hatch for my little 5000 btu A/C to slide out. I like simple..... slide the unit in and close the hatch when traveling or the A/C is not needed. I will install a small rain diverter over the top of the hatch one day soon.
Got my 6x12 fully insulated and now ready to build what I will call a laptop desk in the front V of the trailer. Working one handed as I tripped and fell and cut my hand on a sharp piece of metal as I went down. These stitches will keep me working slow for 8 more days until they come out.
Oh no! Sorry to hear you injured your only hand. That must be discouraging. Glad to hear you are all insulated. I can't imagine how challenging it must be to work one handed.I find myself needing 3 hands sometimes! Hang in there!
